Accommodation
The River House has five suites, all with a/c and luxurious bathrooms, named by Sri Lankan astrological signs. All bedrooms have TVs and DVDs. The two superior suites – Makare and Singhe – are breathtakingly large with giant-sized beds. The other suites include Kanya, Thula and Dhanu.

Facilities
Meal times are arranged by request, make full use of fresh local produce, and can be taken in the garden, restaurant or the privacy of your own room.  An infinity swimming pool rests in seclusion on another part of the hillside, with its own changing hut. A private motorboat and boogie boards are available and, should the road be impassable in the rainy season, you can travel the last mile in style by private boat from Balapitiya bridge. The River House also has use for most of the year of a private beach area - a small, sandy cove - in front of the designers beach house in nearby Balapitiya.
